Information - Coronavirus

Dear God our Shield and our Defender, guide and protect our neighbours in this time of health emergency; deliver them from all harm and may your love and care ever grow in all communities. Give foresight, wisdom and courage to all the decision makers, both here and throughout the world, who have the responsibility and power to try to control the virus. We give thanks for those on the medical front line, praying that they may be protected from catching the virus.

Helpline
If you need help please call our church helpline on 01234 342613
We have colunteers who will assist in any way that we can.

St Mark's Chapel
We have been told that we must close our chapel and church during this crisis.

Keep In Touch

It is important that we do all that we can to keep our fellowship together with communication now that was can no longer continue our usual worship. Parish News will continue to be produced every week as usual and we will now increase our use of Facebook with frequent information and updates throughout the crisis period. Not everybody uses Facebook but it will be an important lifeline in the coming months so please sign up if you don’t already have an account.

Facebook will be an important way of keeping in touch and sharing with others and I want to encourage you to visit St Mark’s Facebook page and engage with it - and ‘Like’ it ! Share news and stories, prayers and poems, anything which helps us to maintain our links with each other. Not everybody will have access to social media but those who do can perhaps help share with others. We will also include things from Facebook in Parish News each week and this will be printed and paper copies available for distribution from the chapel which will be open every day.

Church Council Meetings
All council meetings have been cancelled and Trustrees are
asked to retain their current positions until further notice
