Help Ukraine

Dear Congregation

Thank you to everybody who has helped provide essential supplies for Ukraine. This afternoon we were visited by a van to collect the generous donations from the chapel. How fitting that our special place of prayer should be used to collect the resources which will provide support for those suffering from this shocking war.

For your reassurance we have been advised that the Ukrainian drivers will take the van direct to Ukraine. They are not having any issues with border crossings and once they arrive in Ukraine they leave the vans and return to make more deliveries.

We have been asked from now on that if anybody wishes to make donations that they would only like medical supplies and military equipment and clothing (boots, army clothing etc.) St Mark's will continue to accept these donations and pass them on for delivery. Please do not leave any weapons, knives etc in the chapel but give these to the office for security.

Thank you also to those who offered to help deliver the donations

Thank you for your kind support - Charlie
